I was walking thru the zoo and saw this sign. The angle and the color caught my eye. It made me think about how everyone is telling us what to do. Or the counter to that … Stay on the Path … hang in there.

Welcome to The Write Shift

We're excited to have you join us as we connect, collaborate, and inspire one another.

In order to ensure that this community is a positive and productive space for all members, we've established a set of rules and guidelines that we ask all members to adhere to.

These guidelines are designed to foster a respectful and professional environment, and to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable and meaningful experience.

We kindly ask that you take a moment to familiarise yourself with these rules and guidelines before participating in the community.

Community Rule One

BE EXCELLENT TO EACH OTHER

We value diversity and inclusivity, and we expect all members to treat each other with respect and kindness.

This includes avoiding harassment, bullying, and discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, or ability.

Community Rule Two

DO NOT DISCRIMINATE

Do not using hate speech or discriminatory language.
This will result in an immediate suspension or ban.

Community Rule Three

KEEP ON CHANNEL TOPIC

Keep to the relevant channel topics, if you don't see something you'd like to talk about contact a moderator or the admin.

Community Rule Four

DON'T BE OBNOXIOUS

Don't spam or flood group channels with excessive messages or be overly loud/obnoxious in voice channels.

Community Rule Five

Don't share any personal information about yourself or others.
This includes addresses, phone numbers, and personal photographs.

Community Rule Six

NO ILLEGAL ACTIVITY

Don't engage in any illegal activity on the server, including but not limited to sharing pirated content or engaging in fraud or scams.

Community Rule Seven

LIMITED SELF PROMOTION

Don't use the server to promote your own products or services without the permission of the administrator, moderators, or in acceptable channels.

Community Rule Eight

ALWAYS ASK THE ADMIN/MOD

If you have a problem or concern, contact a moderator or the admin rather than trying to address it yourself.

We're here to help maintain a positive and safe environment for everyone.

Community Rule Nine

WE RESERVE ALL RIGHTS

The administrator and moderators of The Write Shift reserve the right to remove any content or member which violates these rules or the safety of the The Write Chift members at any time.

If you are banned, your The Write Shift membership being immediately cancelled without refund.

Community Rule Ten

THESE RULES MAY CHANGE

These rules may be updated or changed at any time without prior notification. The community will be notified via the Rules channel of any updates or changes.

Community Rule Eleven

Report inappropriate behaviour

If you witness or experience any inappropriate behaviour in the The Write Shift community, please report it to a moderator or administrator.

Your report will be kept confidential and will be used to help create a safer and more positive community for everyone.
